Hi there, thanks so much for your comments. I totally agree with you regarding trying to understand what the problem is before quitting something. I certainly spent a long time doing that, although in my case perhaps too long. I think that everyone’s relationship with alcohol is different and it’s important that they do what feels right for them and I appreciate you bringing your experience to bear here, I think it serves as a helpful reminder not to take the extreme route before trying other things first.
