The side effects of Nebido can include those of an androgenic nature. The androgenic side effects of Nebido are, however, highly dependent on genetic predispositions and will not affect all men. The possible androgenic side effects of Nebido include accelerated hair loss in those predisposed to male pattern baldness, acne in sensitive individuals and body hair growth.
While by no means always necessary, some men may find the use of a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor to be useful. The testosterone hormone is metabolized by the 5-alpha reductase enzyme, which reduces the testosterone hormone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). The DHT is what leads to the androgenic related effects. By incorporating a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor, you will reduce the hormones androgenicity. It will not be a complete reduction, but it will be significant. However, such inhibitors are not always recommended and should only be used as needed as they can hinder the potency of the testosterone hormone.
Aldactone is a very effective diuretic. Many performance athletes often assume it’s weak but this is normally due to a misguided assumption pertaining to their own physique. If you are truly in shape and use this diuretic, such as a competitive bodybuilder, you will appear sharper once you hit the stage. If you do not appear noticeably sharper, this simply means you were fatter than you thought. As a therapeutic diuretic, you will also find Aldactone is far more comfortable than other options, but in severe cases of hypertension and edema it’s sometimes not enough. However, there is no reason a healthy athlete should really ever need anything stronger than this diuretic, and this is good news as stronger loop-diuretics can be very damaging to the athlete’s health.
In the world of bodybuilding where DNP is most commonly found a dosing of 600mg per day is not uncommon and such a dose can be taken safely; however, while we cannot recommend you ever use DNP to begin with, if you do we would prefer a lower dose of approximately 400mg per day . Remember, it does not take a lot to see any fat burning, no, it doesn’t take much at all and if you get greedy and try to speed the fat loss up you won’t; all you’ll do is severely damage your body. Most will also find 2-3 weeks of use to be the maximal time frame of use; that may not sound like much but when you think about what that short time frame can do it’s mind-blowing. As DNP can burn a full pound of body-fat per day one could easily drop 20lbs of pure fat in that time frame, not 20lbs of bodyweight but 20lbs of pure fat and that is absolutely amazing. For the first time user 300-400mg per day for a 2 week course is the only reasonable course of action and if another 2 week course is needed it is recommended at least 4-5 weeks of no DNP be put in place in-between the two 2 week runs.
